Colored windows, red bricks of old houses and the smell of the city that you won’t feel anywhere else will make your experience in Azerbaijan complete and mesmerizing. The Khan Palace in Sheki has been recently included into UNESCO World Heritage List.

Tour departs from your accommodation/preferred central Baku point. Please specify your address during checkout.
We will pick you up from Baku early morning at 7:00AM. From there you will head directly to one of the ancient cities of Azerbaijan – Sheki. After around 4 and a half hours, reaching Sheki, we will go to the house that you will stay overnight. As soon as we finish with accommodating, you will visit authentic national restaurant to taste typical food of Sheki. To burn some calories, enjoy the beauty of the city and learn about its history, you will take 3-hour walking tour around the city with the local guide. We will explore the city and visit major points – Palace of Sheki Khans, Caravanserai, old Albanian temple and, of course, sweet houses famous for their “halva”s. We will have a tea break, so you have some rest before visiting Kish village and Albanian church.
You will also have time for shopping, if necessary.
On the next day, boost your appetite with fresh and juicy breakfast, as it’s time to say goodbye to Sheki. We will visit second major destination, Gabala, a city surrounded by Caucasus Mountains. We will go to Tufandag Summer-Winter Complex and take a cable car to enjoy the view of some high points of Greater Caucasus. Later, we’ll head to Nohur Lake in Gabala and have a dinner there right by the lake. After the dinner, enjoy the beautiful nature of Nohur and get ready to be back in Baku.
