Gabala is famous for its beautiful landscape areas, mountains, winter and summer resorts, lakes and waterfalls. It was the first capital of ancient Albania, the state existing many years before the establishment of Azerbaijan. Throughout the years, the city changed its look, while preserving its natural beauty and some historical attractions, such as “Govur-Qala” in Chukhur-Gabala region. During the trip you’ll explore this ancient region, get impressed by its natural reliefs and picturesque landscape.
Tour departs from your accommodation/preferred central city point. Please specify your address during checkout.
Our first stop will be "Yeddi Gozel" (Seven Beauties) waterfall. This stop requires some hiking to reach to the waterfall, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and waterproof shoes.
Our second stop will be Nohurgol Lake - a must see in Gabala. At Nohurgol you can get a ride with horse carriages, take a boat or just enjoy your lunch break with traditional local tea!
"Chukhur Gabala" gates are stunning remnants of ancient Albania - a state that was located in the territory of Azerbaijan. Interesting fact: Gabala was the first capital of Albania.
Our last stop will be Tufandagh Winter-Summer Resort. We'll take a cable ride between the mountains. You are free to choose other activities. By the end of the tour, we'll have dinner break before departing back to Baku.
